The Story behind Northern Electric
Northern Electric was established in 1996 by two young, seasoned electricians aspiring to start a premium electrical company. They sold their "prize" personal vehicles to buy vans, tools, supplies and used their basements as warehouses. Small job after small job, they worked their way to being able to acquire their first big project - Walmart Prince George in 2000. Fast forward to today, which marks 26 years of successful operation of Northern Electric, we have culminated into an electrical firm of skilled professionals that continues to serve Prince George and surrounding areas.
We are proud to have been a part of many major electrical projects such as Walmart, Canadian Tire, YXS International Runway Expansion, Prince George Firehall, Finning, Tsay Keh Dene Community, Lowe's, Northern Health (pediatric expansion, cancer clinic, and more), Rolling Mix Concrete (BC) Ltd, and so many more.
In addition to our commercial services, we also serve the residential needs of the Prince George community with 24-hour emergency service, upgrades, security, automation, and more.
